Women’s Association News

     Every woman who is a member of the church is automatically a member of the Women's Association.    Our overall purpose is to support the work of the church, both spiritually and financially.

THE CIRCLES

     The Women's Asociation has a noon luncheon with entertainment and a bake sale on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from September through June in Bower Hall.  The association is compiled of three different circles: Camelia-Rose, Violet and Vesper. The circles meet each month for fellowship, devotion and to study.

     The Camelia-Rose Circle meets 1st Wednesday of every month (except the summer months of July through September) at 12, noon in Dreier Hall.  A different member(s) acts as a hostess providing table set-ups, beverages, as well as a light lunch and/or dessert.  In our two hour luncheon, we discuss Circle bussiness and upcoming events for the Church.  We also fellowship and study the Bible.  The Bible Study is a 9-part report prepared especially for the Women's Association.

     The Violet Circle meets the 2nd Thursday of each month @ 11:30 in Dreier Hall.  Bring your lunch.  This circle has been studying the "Women of the bible."  Please join us!

     The Vesper Circle is a working women's Church group.  It meets monthly, every 2nd Wednesday evening at 7:30 in various restaurants.  We fellowship, share our concerns about family and church, and take turns selecting our next restaurant.

NON-MEMBERS WELCOMED

     On Tuesday mornings a small group of women meet in Dreier Hall to make items for the Christmas Bazaar.  It is not necessary to be a member of the church for this.  So, if you like to sew or like to get "crafty", please join us for a morning of fellowship and refreshments.  New members are always welcome.
